CANCELLATION OF THE 2024 EDITION OF THE SEMI DE CANNES
On Sunday 3rd March, the Semi de Cannes had to be cancelled due to weather conditions. Following strong winds on Saturday night and the risk of flooding, the event village was severely damaged and was no longer able to welcome participants safely.
Despite the best efforts of the city of Cannes and ours to reschedule the event, we are unable to find a suitable date. As a result, we are obliged to cancel the 2024 event altogether.
We understand the disappointment of everyone registered for this event, and we know that you would have preferred to be able to run to achieve your personal objectives, whether they were to get a PB, to surpass yourself or to share a fun sporting moment with friends or family.
A refund of the registration fee is available to participants who wish to be reimbursed, subject to certain conditions:
- The sum of 5 euros will be deducted from refunds for people who collected their t-shirts and race number on Saturday 2 March, to cover the associated costs.
In order to organise this edition of the Semi de Cannes, a great deal of expense has been incurred upstream, up to 3/4 of the proceeds from registrations, including perishable goods which will be donated to the Banque Alimentaire.
We leave it up to you to decide whether or not to request a refund for your registration for this event. We would like to thank in advance all those who decide to donate their entries to cover the organisational costs, support the development of sporting activities and enable our association to survive.
REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE
Fill in the form below, indicating whether or not you wish to be reimbursed and providing the necessary information before 31 May 2024. After this deadline, we reserve the right to refuse your request for a refund.
The organiser reserves the right to request additional information if the registration and refund details do not match.
